People across the internet are passionately expressing their opinions about the movie "Animal," leading to heated debates. The reviews seem to be polarized, with individuals either being loyal fans or intensely against the film. Let's dive into the Amimal movie review step by step, examining both its positive and negative aspects before delving into the controversies surrounding it.

Positives-

The movie starts with the intro of Ranbir Kapoor titled as a superstar and he delivers justice to the title. The most flawless thing in the movie is Ranbir Kapoor’s acting, the way he does justice to the character, the way he talks and walks like he owns the screen. His acting is phenomenal and he is proving to us again and again.

while I was watching the movie with my friends and within 10 minutes we all had tears in our eyes that's what the potential of that story or I say father-son bond. But they fail to deliver that throughout the movie.

The cameo of Upendra Limaye and Marathi BGM playing in the background while the fight scene just takes you to the realms of beats. Also, the Punjabi songs and Punjabi chorus have the power to give you goosebumps. And I don't think there is any need to talk about the trending “Jamal Kadu” song because his popularity on social media says everything.

They use their BGM very wisely, in the fight scene they use Marathi BGM or Punjabi song, and in the emotional scene with the father, they use papa meri jaan whistle.

Color grading, cinematography, humor, music, and costumes are on point.

Negatives-

The foremost and crucial issue lies in the editing. Sandeep Reddy Vanga had the opportunity to trim the scenes featuring Zoya or the mid-fight scene, condensing the movie into a more concise 3-hour duration. The storyline and plot do not necessarily need the extensive 3 hours and 20 minutes.

They could have given more screen time to lord Bobby or Bobby Deol. They introduced him after the second half and this feels injustice to the acting talent like Bobby Deol. Because he has done a phenomenal job within every small scene.

The movie's plot and narrative don't require an entire storyline dedicated to Zoya, and beyond that, the film takes an abrupt turn that feels offensive. Some dialogues, like the pelvis and menstruation references, are unnecessary.

Let’s End The Controversies-

During the controversy, suddenly, every critic of "Animal" is claiming that they already knew Sandeep Reddy Vanga was a problematic figure from his previous film, "Kabir Singh," despite being widely acclaimed. This raises the question: if they foresaw "Animal" being a disappointment, why did they purchase tickets and go to the theaters?

Earning over 600 cr is not a joke. The worst movies couldn't make that money at the box office. Numerous films centered around violence failed to achieve the same level of success. What sets this movie apart is that it accomplished the remarkable feat of crossing the 600 cr mark despite carrying an A certificate, and that's an achievement worth it.

but all this dosent hide the fact that this movie is somewhat offensive but we have a choice, we have a choice to not watch movie.

Despite the major flaws in the movie, such as the scenes involving Zoya and the use of abusive dialogues, it's important not to unfairly blame the Animal team. Notably, world-famous web series like The Boys feature significantly more blood and abusive dialogues, yet they continue to top the charts without facing similar criticism.

The movie trailer explicitly indicated the violence and theme, and it's undeniable that this film has flaws and may be offensive. If that's the case for you, then perhaps it's best to refrain from watching it. However, if you choose to watch the movie despite reviews and the trailer, only to later criticize it, ask yourself why you went to see it in the first place.

For those who still find issues and creating controversies, there's a special message waiting for you at the end of the movie.
